Mauritius FSC Warning: VTB Trade Displaying Fake Broker License

The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (the "FSC Mauritius") would like to alert the public with regards to VTB Trade claiming to be an international company that provides its customers with the most advanced services on the world financial market. It purports to have its contact details as: Global Service Headquarters, The Financial Services Centre, Berkshire House, Holborn, London, WC1V, floor 11.

The FSC Mauritius has recently been made aware that VTB Trade is falsely purporting to be regulated by the FSC Mauritius and to hold a FX Trade Licence pursuant to Section 14 of the Financial Services Act 2007 and the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules2008 which is accessible on its website (http://vtb-trade.org/en/aboutus).

The FSC Mauritius hereby informs the public that VTB Trade is not and has not at any time been licensed by the FSC Mauritius.

The FSC Mauritius therefore urges the public to exercise caution in respect of VTB Trade.
